Most home network problems are not internet problems. They are coverage problems, wiring problems, or a router doing a job it was never meant to do. A house with thick walls, a detached garage, or an office at the far end of the plan will not be fixed by a faster plan from the provider — it needs the signal carried to where people actually use it, by whatever route the building allows.
We design and install home networks and camera systems across the Columbia, SC area — Chapin, Lexington, Irmo, West Columbia, and Lake Murray — as part of a larger project or entirely on their own. New build, renovation, or a house that has to stay exactly as it is: the approach changes, the goal does not.
What We Do
Structured Wiring
Wired connections to the places that need them — offices, theaters, access points, cameras. We can specify the cabling for a new build before the walls close, extend what is already there, or work with what the house gives us in a finished home.
Wi-Fi Design & Optimization
Coverage planned around the building rather than guessed at. Access points placed where they cover the rooms people use, on channels that do not fight each other, so the dead corner of the house stops being a dead corner.
Getting Connectivity Where It Is Needed
Sometimes the answer is a cable, sometimes it is MoCA over existing coax, sometimes it is a mesh node in the right spot. Older homes rarely allow the tidy solution, so we use whatever route the building actually permits.
Switching & Network Hardware
The right tier for the property rather than whatever is on the shelf. Enterprise-grade switching and access points where a large or demanding home justifies them, prosumer equipment where it lands the balance of capability and cost, and consumer mesh systems where that genuinely is the better answer. Configured properly in every case.
Cameras & Local Recording
Camera placement chosen for coverage and useful footage rather than count, recorded to an NVR on site so the footage is yours. Wired where we can, with the storage sized for how far back you want to be able to look.
Video Doorbells
Doorbell cameras fitted, wired and brought into the rest of the system, so the front door works with everything else rather than living in its own app.
